How to increase tax compliance: new tools from behavioural economics
Economy, finance, tax and competition, Events/Conf/Fairs, European Commission /
Increasing voluntary tax compliance is fundamental to long term stability of EU and E&IA countries' public finances.
In collaboration with DG TAXUD, the Behavioural Economics Team of the Institute for Health and Consumer Protection (JRC) will organise a workshop to collect state of the art insights from behavioural economics which could be used to stimulate an increase in tax compliance—taking into account country-specific background factors.
Expected participants: decision makers from the national administration of associated countries, as well as representatives of NGOs working on increase of tax compliance and researchers from economics and business administration.
